Firefox/SeaMonkey version of SolusVM VPS Monitor (SVM) is a browser extension, which, once installed and enabled, will automatically run each time the user opens the browser application.

SVM supports Firefox 3.6 and above,  as well as SeaMonkey 2.0 and above.

Download and Install

SolusVM VPS Monitor is now featured in Mozilla’s add-on gallery, which means you can directly search and install SVM from within compatible Mozilla browsers listed above and get automatic version updates when they are available. Unfortunately, due to the review process enforced at mozilla.org, the version displayed in the search results is usually not up-to-date. You should always try to get the newest version by visiting this link.

Click the above link in Firefox/SeaMonkey and the extension should be downloaded and installed. You will be prompted to  confirm the installation manually.

Installation should be over in no time and you will be prompted to restart the browser. after which a ‘V’ (for ‘VPS’) icon is added to the status bar. (In Firefox 4, you will have to enable the display of ‘add-ons’ bar to be able to see this icon.)

The icon is a quick link to the extension. Click on it and you will be brought to the main UI of SVM. The UI is minimalistic but as self-explanatory as possible. If needed, there are quick reference notes in the ‘Help‘ tab.
