load geexbox from hd usb fails

Hello,
The SD port of my Wii is dead ...
I'm using the homebrew channel from my usb hd
but it doesn't work for geexbox, after some lines the wii makes a reset
i've searched in /etc/ for a path but I didn't found anything
An idea ?
