no longer recognizing usb hdd in both usb ports

I used to have a usb hdd plugged into each usb port on the wii used both perfectly in geexbox, now they no longer worked. I think it may be because installed a different cIOS? but Im not sure how to get it back to what it was to get both usb ports working again. Any help? Which cios should i be using? and where can I get the installer?

GeeXboX for Wii , or linux for wii to be exact, does not use any 'cIOS'. The IOS version only uses nintendo IOSes. The MINI version does not use any IOS at all.
If installed cIOS overwirtes nintendo IOS used by linux for wii, it could cause problems for IOS version of GeeXboX for Wii. How to uninstall such cIOSes is a question best addressed by cIOS writers.
