Unable to display serbian subtitle properly
Re: Unable to display serbian subtitle properly
You only have to specify "SUB_CHARSET=sr" in 'settings' for it to work. No other change should be required.

Re: Unable to display serbian subtitle properly
I tried that on the first place, but still no way to display čšćđ characters. it has to do something with unicode or i don't know
Re: Unable to display serbian subtitle properly
Farter, can you tryout yourself a serbian language subtitle to see why ščđćž are not displayed?
I tried your suggestions but they dont do the work, i changed font too to Arial.ttf. IT changes the font but still doesn't display ščđćž .
Аnd i am sure that FreeSans and Arial support those characters.
It has to do something with unicode convertion or subchar convertion

Re: Unable to display serbian subtitle properly
Seems that some configuration is missing, will be fixed in next release. Thanks for reporting.
For now, you can convert to utf8.

Re: Unable to display serbian subtitle properly
I have the same problem when playing movie with bulgarian subtitle.
Re: Unable to display serbian subtitle properly
still the same problem with serbian subtitle...what I have to do to fix it?what I should edit in setting and lang.conf ???
Re: Unable to display serbian subtitle properly
The only thing you have to do is to make sure SUB_CHARSET matches your subtitles' encoding.
Note, encoding ≠ language.

Re: Unable to display serbian subtitle properly
SUB_CHARSET set to windows-1252 as the subtitles` encoding windows-1252... it doesn`t work. Works only with english subtitle, the problem are probably the serbian characters.
