The only thing you have to do is to make sure SUB_CHARSET matches your subtitles' encoding.
Note, encoding ≠ language.

It's best to start with no encryption and if everything works, add encryption later.
I haven't used wifi in a while, but you may want to check the "# Wifi WEP/WPA key (in ASCII mode, not hex.)" part.

GeeXboX for Wii , or linux for wii to be exact, does not use any 'cIOS'. The IOS version only uses nintendo IOSes. The MINI version does not use any IOS at all. If installed cIOS overwirtes nintendo IOS used by linux for wii, it could cause problems for IOS version of GeeXboX for Wii. How to uninsta...
